Discover The Treasure of Sundarbans 18th Nov to 22nd Nov 2023

Tour Itinerary:

• Day 1 (Sundarban): 5:00 – 5:30 am first pick up point from Garia 6 No. bus stand (South Kolkata), reporting time is 5:00 am and departure time is 5:30 am. It will be three hours drive to reach Gadhkhali Ferry Ghat. Welcome drinks will be served on House-boat following Breakfast and a short introduction about the largest mangrove delta by our skilled guide. Lunch will be served on safari boat at 1:00 pm. At 4:00 pm leaving with lovely ‘sunset’, we will be back to our Resort/Hotel. Between 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm refreshment and complimentary evening snacks will be served with tea/coffee. At 8:00 pm a casual “Photography Adda” to be held by the lawn. Sharp 9:30 pm dinner will be ready at the dining area.Day 2 (Sundarban): 5:00 am an early morning start. Enjoy sunrise from the boat with a cup of tea/coffee. We will go through various rivers, islands and small creeks covering Pirkhali, Sarakhali, Gazikhali, Deulbharani. Banbibi – bharani and many more. We will stop at Sudhanyakhali watch tower and Dobanki watch tower. Our search for The Royal Bengal Tiger will be on process while you will enjoy spotted deer. crocodile, wild boar, snakes, water monitor lizard, different types of birds. Breakfast and lunch timings will be same as Day ‘1’. Between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm we will be back to Resort/Hotel. Post refreshment and after having evening snacks and tea we review each other’s photo taken by individuals while long day safari, following dinner at 9:30 pm.
  Day 3 (Sundarban): 5:00 am an early morning start. Enjoy sunrise from the boat with a cup of tea/coffee. • Day 4 (Sundarban): Sundarban till 4:00 pm repeat of previous days and by 5:30 – 6:00 pm reaching back to Gadhkhali Ferry Ghat. Onwards pick up by car and by 8:30 – 9:00 pm journey ends at Garia (South Kolkata).

Cost Includes:

1. Transportation from Canning to Canning on sharing basis.
2. Overnight stay in the Hotel (AC).
3. Mechanized well maintained boat with beds and European toilet.
4. All major meals like Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Tea Snacks, Dinner.
5. National Park entry permits and guide charges.
6. Boat permits and still camera permissions.
7. Porter charges etc.

Cost Excludes:

1. Any hard or aerated drinks.
2. Any miscellaneous expenses incurred by the guests.
3. Coolie charges.
4. Video camera charges.

Child Policy:

1. 1 – 5 years free.
2. Age group between 5 – 10 years 50% charge.
3. Above 10 years full charge.

Payment Policy:
Payment for or participation in a tour confirms that you have accepted the Terms and Condition policies of Wild Routes Travel & Photography:

1. 50% initial deposit to book the slot. 50% balance payment for the tour must be made at the latest 1 month prior to the starting date of the tour.
2. A tour will only be considered confirmed and provisional bookings will only be made once a non-refundable deposit of 50% has been received by Wild Routes Travel & Photography for each participant. Full (50% balance) payment for the tour must be made at the latest 1 month prior to the starting date of the tour. The 50% deposit and 50% balance payments are non-refundable.
3. We do not make travel insurance compulsory.
4. Importantly, Wild Routes Travel & Photography shall not refund the deposit or balance payment if you cancel your participation in the trip, for any reason whatsoever (including, but not limited to illness and death).
5. Cancellation policy: Wild Routes Travel & Photography has the right to cancel the tour, and/or its extensions, should insufficient reservations be received and if clients booked onto it don’t want to pay surcharge for the smaller group (sometimes clients are willing to pay extra to ensure the trip will run). If Wild Routes Travel & Photography cancels the tour because of this reason, all deposits and payments will be refunded in full, or if agreed by you, the client, transferred to another tour booking. Wild Routes Travel & Photography will do its utmost to prevent the tour from being cancelled due to too few signups.
6. Please do not book any flights until you have first checked and confirmed tour dates with Wild Routes Travel & Photography.
7. Payment can be made through NEFT.

Things to carry:

1. Specific Medicine if you need for Cough, Cold, Stomach Upset.
2. Must carry valid photo id proof during travel.
3. Foreigners have to carry their original passport as an essential.
4. Camera / Binoculars to view distance animal & landscape.
5. Light baggage that is easy to carry.
6. Comfortable footwear.
7. Carry sunglasses/hat or cap/sun tan lotions during your trip.
8. Preferably carry cash as possibility of accessing ATM is remote. Only SBI ATM is available at Gosaba.
9. Vaccination certificate or RT-PCR negative report.

Important Note:

1. Itinerary is subject to change/alteration as the visit to the various places depends upon weather conditions.
2. The food menu may be changed without any prior notice.
3. Veg/Non-veg preferences should be mentioned at the time of booking those who opt for meals.
4. Due to technical or other issues, we may change the vehicle without any prior notice.
